The way it snapped made me wonder if it was a ratchet strap more then a tow rope. I have been considering a Yankees rope to keep in the rail.  Having said that, what, fabr, doesn't your rail weigh 3200 ish lbs?  ;D

General g, nice pics and video. I hope to get back down there sooner then later. Allan was 2 to 3 hrs behind us returning home. He said he didn't notice any real wind. I find that amazing cause I fought it all the way to the Nebraska state line! Ill have to replace the 18 year old cooler that cimmited suicide too  :m

I have seen some stories of it hardening and going to pieces. I don't know if it is an issue or not . Who knows what additives those had used in them. I did manage to find out they are nylon and should not be affected by ethanol / pump e85.
