Putting it on a spit is the cat's ass !!!! I built a full chassis table rotisserie ,as we call it here, and it makes final welding a LOT easier for sure!!!!

 I have made the decision about engine choice, I stripped the v5 golf and plan and using that with its autobox





I have made the pedal box and half way through mounting the steering column

chassis is now on a spit so i can finish the welding

I finally got round to stripping the passat to get the drivetrain for a sand rail,
I will get some hard measurements in the next few days
dsrace did I see some pics of rear hubs you made/sold somewhere on here, is that where you would start ?

once you get a little time on it, check the alignment again as everything settles then you can make tiny adjustments on the shocks and really dial it in!

VERY nice work! the front end was designed for 10* caster but of course you'll set it as you see fit. we will need more pics though!! video would be nice as well.
