Here you go.  These folks go remote and as a group are "green."  Well, except for the fossil fuels of the rigs.

Not that I don't love you, but sometimes it is so much easier to do from a desktop.  I was on the road.

OK back from playing in the little sand box and got the job started.  Pulled all the sheet metal from the car and let the games begin.

Looking like the complete package will have to go reword about 2 inch.  This tube on both sides will have to slid to the rear.

One of the main things to do is rewire the whole car.  It has been a night mare keeping this car running with the wires the way they have been.

FYI anything on the car that is not tied down tight will sand it's self away.  This is my air compressor that I carry just in front of the passenger seat on the floor.

So yes, this sucks.

The image host - Post image - went through a something.  No idea what it was.  The upshot is they had to change there www address.  all the pictures are there.  but, to refrence them it now requires an different address.  the web site address https://postimg.cc works as does the address https://postimage.org  so, the old ones were postimg.org  see the subtle difference?  A picture is below.

So, if there are missing photos via post image.  Go into the post and change the extension or from "img" to "image."  You can see in this picture how the top two have been chnaged, the bottom one not.

Like I say this sucks.  Third party, free vendor.  Not much to do other than cuss.  They may fix it (that is my hope)  But this is about the same level as the photobucket fiasco.

On the bright side, nothing I did, so "yea me."   LMAO

That's true but for now I am seeking knowledge of good working parts worth buying VS overpriced do not work good items (I already have to many of these!).
Until I really know what I can get in terms of a solar cell that actually makes a certain amount of current over time (given a certain amount of sun which is of course a HUGE variable) I cannot say what I wish for.

Since I do not know the best ones capability I have not really figured out what I am going to get. Just searching for the better parts and going to see what I can get it to do.  If I have to have two or three later to "chain gang" them I will.

The fire rings were round before they were stretched into ovals . I was amazed how much they stretched before breaking.

We'll see. FWIW,I always try to diagnose issues at tear down. When it came time to remove the heads I checked the torque on all the head bolts. Each and every one had lost substantial preload torque on both heads. That is the cause of this problem no doubt. All I can think of is that the .051 gaskets relaxed more than the .041 gaskets I normally use without issue-ever.The extra .010 apparently has something/everything to do with this. Jury is still out but I think MLS gaskets will be used this time to avoid any possiblity of this happening again.
