Get Some Free Online Off-Road Education At Virtual Overland Expo May 16

There are a lot of off-road adventure/overland-themed meetups, or at least there were before the coronavirus canceled everything. But Overland Expo is one of the OGs, and since annual southwest-based happening was supposed to happen mid-May, its hosting some stuff online that could be fun and educational to watch.

Keep us posted. I agree it is probably good to use Polaris or probably less expensive Yamaha yxz driveline and suspension parts.

AND im back!  I picked up 200ft of 1.25" 0.095 wall DOM tube at $3/ft.  And 40 ft of 1.25" .120 wall @$4/ft both are 1020.  I have kind of decided to go down the path of using polaris rzr parts for my build. less work, easy to replace and find parts.

So it only took 2 years to find the right deal for the tubing haha.

Also picking up a bunch of heavy steel tubing for a sawmill im building.  going to have two projects going at once.

Come Watch Some Live Trucking And Chat On My SnowRunner Stream Here

This video game SnowRunner has helped quench my thirst for off-road adventure, a little, and I’m hoping it could also be a tool for interacting with people reading Jalopnik. If you’re into trucks or games or just want to chat, I’d love it if you tuned in to my stream and let me try to entertain you this evening.

The Car Chase In Son Of A Gun Has Land Cruiser Drifting And Violence

I saw a post on my Facebook feed the other day, something like: “The Australian movie Son Of A Gun has good SUVs and Ewan McGregor.” Needing no further sales pitch, I found the movie and watched it. Don’t, it sucks, but the Land Cruiser/Nissan Patrol chase is awesome and you can watch that here.

GOOD MORNING!
Man, it's been a while.  We are very busy at work which keeps me from build time.
This COVID crap has given me some extra time to finish up the small details.  The sheet metal is complete.  I also re built the lower arms in the rear and the front.  It works great now and there are no bends in the arms either.  The front upper mount had to be moved up to work, but it's DONE!

I have the car completely stripped down with the panels bolted on ready for the body guy.  I am HOPING that we can get in and paint this sucker next week.
