cool and yes damn expensive lol but technology is heading in the right direction on that one.

Couple things I have heard about and cannot say for sure BUT I believe to be true.

Solar cells seem nice. But there manufacture produces a lot of toxic by products. Right now its said that china where most are made is dumping the toxins in their backwater areas. This will come back to haunt the people there and maybe more if true.

Second. There was a guy who figured out (reportedly) not to use capacitors to power a electric car. Way better and cheaper than batteries and could be charged quick and had great range. No surprise he was shut up quick.  His prototype disappeared as well.
