I went to High School in Daytona Beach, Fla.  If it dropped below freezing at any time during the night no school next day.  NO heat in school, which is pretty common in central and south Fla.  Only missed on day of school, from cold, school was on beach so if waves was good we didnt come back from lunch. ;D

Big hungry is the boiler I designed and built that heats my 3500foot house and my shop on recycled pallett wood peices...
I can't remember where the thread on it is here at the moment ...here's a pic

Up here were Iam in the Blue Mountains we can't have wood fired heating anymore! :police:

Ya carl...
I haven't cut a healthy tree for firewood in prolly 25 years or better, I cringe when I see those wild fires...or somebody burning a huge brush pile...That is such a waste of a renewable resource..More on that in the woodgas thread 8)
