LOL!!!!! doesn't EVERYONE always say that about everything? Seems like it's always the first time they've heard of a problem when there is one.

that's the truth!

the airshocks have an internal spring to limit the travel, not the coilovers, but either are fine to limit the travel....

yoshi - this is true and I believe that is an 80lb spring but you can still hear the shock hit it and it does get old! so I use the limiting straps to stop this. I have tried the cheap straps that they claim will only stretch 1/2" ( absolute lie )  but with a quality set I have only recorded 1" total in almost 2 years of use.  I set my shock to hold the limit and then add a limiting strap 1" shorter than needed to keep the shock quiet.

I have heard of that spring breaking in the shock but never seen it myself. the guys at redline  ( the revolt ) were discussing with me how they had broke a couple of their's letting the shock limit the angle with out straps, back in I think '06 at LS. they were still testing their prototype, we swapped rails for about 10 minutes just for fun, that was a fun little machine but I still pre-fer a shifter.

So does this mean that my FOX coilovers are going to clack everytime they hit full extension?

yep unless you put a PU spacer in place of the factory aluminum one.

That will require complete disassembly.....  Oh well.  I hear that is the next step after the first test drive.   :P

Let's start a thread about pro's/con's of each type.

Theres not really much to update. After I figured out the spindles and A-arms would have to be redone, the water jet guy tried to cut 3 of his fingers off. That guy will do anything to get out of work.......

Still waiting for parts...........
