Use thicker spacers on either side of the shock eye bolt holes. That will get the brackets outside of the shock body.

Well, I got the shock mount installed, still need a bunch of gusseting, but I think this is the basic design, just need to copy it over to the other side now. Should be pretty good design, I will do a bar across to the other side and then one on each side going down to the torsion tube, should be pretty good. MAN, I forgot how much of a BITCH it is welding inside a cab!! OY.!

Got a bit more done tonight, didn't want to work too late since I'm going to the SAND SPORT SHOW tomorrow!! Its cool though, it has a bit more downtravel than the CV's can take right now and a bit more up travel than the tires allow before bottoming out and I still have 18"!!

Build looks really nice. I am curious. Where are you going to mount radiator? I mounted mine above motor at an angle. I built kind of a whale tail around it. I haven't run the car so I don't know if it will work. Kennedy recommends in front, but then you have tubing thru cockpit. I do have one bit of advice, build mounts where you can use larger radiator if needed. Bajas are nice when it rains. Tim

Yeah, that's where I had planned it either flat or tilted up, both with the fans on top as pushers..I like the spoiler idea, but not too sure how it would look...
