A True American
« on: July 17, 2010, 06:34:45 AM »
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."
Theodore Roosevelt 1907

That's wonderful to see. A great video showing a mans love and pain for his fallen friends.

The comments are fookin' retarded though.

Comment by Albert G. DeWall 14 hours ago
God Bless the Marines and all members of our military. We love and respect them all. Too bad our fake President and way too many in Washington don't.

Comment by Diane K, FL Dist CO 3, 8, & 24 20 hours ago
OBama can try as he might, but I for one will never believe that he could convenience our military to turn against their own or their neighbors.

You might not agree with his policies, but when has Obama ever said or done anything that would make you think he 'hates' the military or is trying to make them kill each other?!?

Worse than Youtube comments...

I'm betting those people think you're damned  retarded in return. just saying..................................you can interpret President Obamas actions however you want. BTW ,his title is President Obama whether you agree with him or not, which I do not. I still try to refer to the President as President Whoever.  Personally I feel that President Obama is a traitor to the American way of life.  Many ,if not nearly ALL of those riding by that soldier, would disagree with you Chris.  President Obama has repeatedly snubbed our military. Those riding by that soldier know that and have earned the right to feel that way.

You can read whatever you want into the video, but I don't see or hear anybody in the video complaining about President Obama.

The one ex-marine I do talk to (on a video game forum of all places!) is rather happy about the changes recently made to the VA. Now his severe PTSA counts much more toward his medical assistance.

I'll admit that's not exactly a huge pool of reference...

Do you have any sources for President Obamas 'snubbing' of your military?

I really don't see the point in discussing this with a citizen of another country. What you see in thee news is highly biased to say the least. We've been over this before Chris and we do not agree. leave it at that.

Mate I can agree to disagree with you all day! I make a point of reading and watching whatever I can from multiple sources, weeding out the facts from the partisan bollocks, and then making up my own mind. Disregarding someone's opinion because they are from a different country strikes me as a little disdainful. Other people's opinions don't matter because they weren't born there? How far are you willing to go with that? Other states? Towns? Streets?
Closing your mind to other people's points of view just limits your opportunities to learn.

I'm not closing my mind to your point of view on this.  I KNOW your point of view on it. I'm just not interested in it. ;)

If you read/listen to all the sources you say you do you'd need no help in finding evidence of it.

You've expressed it many times before.

You might find I'm not as pro-Obama as you think...

Still think he's better than the last guy, but he needs to get his finger outta his butt and whip that Senate into shape!

What, so you think the Senate is going great? Working together for the good of the country and their fellow man?
