TC vs Clutch Shifting Technique of Sequential Fortin Transaxle

For the guys running torque converters ,do you do anything different when shifting a seq. Fortin compared to a clutch car with seq.Fortin? Or is it just the same? Probably sounds like a dumb question but you guys will let me know if it is,OK???
