Is there supposed to be a vid or pic?

Not sure there was anything fun about it, knocked the wind out of me big time. On the plus side I WAS leading when the world turned upside down..LOL

I can tell you it is a bit spooky when your upside down facing the whole pack of cars coming full bore at you. Surprisingly on one hit me and other then a couple broken shocks it really wasn't hurt. Other then winning the 1600 class that was a shitty weekend, Traceys stuff was pure crap that weekend. Roger Mears jumped ship for a Magnum then Bob Hanna called it quits after running the new Funco A-Arm car, said it scared the hell out of him. I won a lot of races in it but there were times it scared the hell out of me also.

To be young again.................

LOL...I THINK I know more now then then, but moneys pretty tight now days. Hell a couple weeks after that race I won $12500 plus contingency  driving Traceys A-Arm car in Colorado. Not bad for racing a buggy in 1980.

I doubt the money was the reason you were racing tho.

I almost got into dirt track racing yrs back.  Until the guy selling the car told us a good weekend was winning enough to pay for the fuel.  It has to be for love until you reach enough sponsorship to really cover the bills.
You can keep your CHANGE, I'd like to keep my DOLLAR.

I raced for 28 years and won enough to buy a burger. Once.
