I habe the old RaceOptics recorder with the 4 camera processor. If usung all 4 cams the vid resolution is split between all 4 and the vid quality suffers BUT if using just 1 it is supurb. I assume you have the more modern version?

No, in fact I don't know if they are still in business.  Mine is single camera.  Will use Go Pro for various angles and splice / edit them together.   Just wanted the audio in.  But really a much better picture than go pro it seems? Will be fun to see how good it is in full day light.

That seems to be a great way to have the best of both worlds, as far as, sand and city drivability.  Good job on the vid!

The cam doesn't have replaceable  lenses? Mine are. Unscrew cap and insert new one.

The lenses can be had pretty readily or were a couple years ago when I needed some. I think R-O went away quite a while back.

That was another fun excursion. 

We left the home and drove to the lake.  So good to be street legal.  From there it is just a hop skip and jump to Sycamore Creek to meet up with some friends.  Could not stay long.  Just long enough for the poker run. 

Only had one camera (Well, fine; two cameras, and one working memory card) with us, so we made the best with what we had. 

Enjoy.
