       ifen your coming all the way from LS to pick up your wife I'll put this out there.  I'm leaving for LS the next morning early.  The wife and I could meet your wife at the air port and she could spend the night with us.  I could being her down when I come down.  I'll print your screen name on the piece of cardboard and stand at the baggage carousel so your wife would know who we were.   Plus any one else that wanted to come into the Wichita Mid Continent air port. I got lots of spare room in this big old house.  No kids anymore.   Just saying.

I am aware of the motor home rentals places a bit and looking at them. IF going that route would try to get the closest so less distance and less cost an hes got wheels to get us to the dunes.  He won't do the tent thing. Hell I would with glee for a few days. Maybe I can sleep in a tent and he can sleep in the back of his Chevy Envoy!

We would be coming in from Chicago area. Likely a similair if not the same route from there Doug followed down. But I would drive from my house near Silver Lake to his place near Chicago's south side (just inside the Illinois border) and go. I aint sure he could get the time required off work yet. Hes thinking about it. I am edging him towards it...

My best hope is he has only ever been to the Dunes here at Silver Lake. He DOES want to see more bigger and potentially better dune areas!

a bunch of people i know from here are going to LS at the end of the month...  jerks.. i was invited, my part would be 150$...but buggy is torn apart now.. so i finally get an offer i can actually take and no buggy.. cruel cruel joke...
