New left front spindle made, parts at powder coat, changing all the suspension bolts (some had some decent wear on them) and all new heim joints. One thing I learned was that I need to tighten all the suspension bolts before every trip. My bad. well i will agree, that is the best pre trip check but dare i ask how and when you learned this??

Lucky I was checking and changing all hardware out. But the ones that were loose, of course had the worst wear on them. I always make sure I don't have "threads in bearing". When the suspension is loaded up, they didn't seem loose, but as soon as it's jacked up, it was obvious. The rear trailing arms pivots and very front on the A arms were the worse. Live and learn, just like the "tow ball" video. Wow. Never have heard of that, but makes common sense.
Does fast need a serious detune? Maybe a just a 1915 vw transplant?
