Sure, they look that way...What you don't see is the load bearing walls with the studs that either don't reach the ceiling or the floor, or in some cases, both. Doorways with no headers, and so on. When the big window arrives, I'm going to have to tear out the entire wall and start over due to floating studs, rotten boards and an extremely shitty patch job on the outside planks. I've got pics of those too, but I didn't want to fill the thread with just my stuff. This house is roughly 100 years old so it has been gone through a few times. I seem to be the first one to make a real attempt at getting shit right though.What I have learned so far from working on this house....If you put your mind to it, you really can half ass everything.

Yep, but it couldn't be further from the truth. I've prolly consumed less than a 12 pack in the last 2-3 years, and most of it was last weekend. My sister got married and I figured if my girlfriend is driving and somebody else is picking up the tab....why not?
