There are many plans out there. They are made from wood, aluminum, or foam covered with fiberglass. I was planning to build one but just have not had time for anything.

Neat. I would try it. But I wouldl ike to see how it glides when the motor dies.

I have daubled in Ultralight aircraft and when I get to old for Buggies (IF it happens) I plan to get into flying them. (Better way to die than an old folks home to me!)

And I know a lot of them are excellant gliders and can be had for less (used of course)  Even Gyro copters glide excellantly with no motor and can be found for good deals.

Still Like Fabr said if he catches a cross wind and dips a wing in the pond...... yeeeeeeehaa...AAHHHH!
