Just a thought, seeing as we all seem to be so far apart (sometimes thanfully... ), it would be interesting to 'see' where we all live...

Thats my house on the corner and the silver roof at the bottom of the block is the workshop. The block is big it extends for half the short street.

House is 2 story and the damn block drops away at about 30 degrees towards the shed (block is terraced) , gettin theres easy getting back to the house can cause a few issues.... particularly after a few beers.... oops cokes....

I have to change her oil on a regular basis to keep things running smoothly.
I can get to Spec's in a couple hours from there.

Well I wouldnt know... never been to a Kalifornian suburb... did you scroll back out and see what we ARENT near? Thats right...anything!

And walking distance to the beach as well....nice..... do they let buggies run along there?

Funny you should mention driving on the beach....... A few years back on the 4th of July after all the fireworks and such I decided it would be fun to ride My bike down the beach like I was in Baja. Went about 3 miles south then back wearing swim trunks and some flip-flops I stole. The whole time pinned in 5th and 6th, honking the horn with people jumping out of the way. On the return trip I had to turn off the headlight to keep the fun loving people on the beach from shooting Me with skyrockets and roman candles. Made it a little harder to dodge the pedestrians, but they managed. The night only went downhill from there........
 
What you can't tell from the satellite image is My driveway has about a 30* slope to it. The house is a good 20' higher than the street. The only person that has come close to hitting the house has been Me. I have also kinda lost a car down the driveway too........
