Yes its Alain who used to be in Elsinore Ca, now in Hesperia.

There was also another couple of guys in Oregon selling the older models with sled engines. I believe they went out of business awhile (years) back.

Never looked at the price but that is certainly a lot of money. Car does work good.
                                                                                               
  I went to the Sand Sports Super Show a few years back and some joker was trying to sell a Hayabusa powered car for $65.000. All black. Had a good laugh at that.

Yeah, people can be pretty proud of their stuff. Take a look at Phoenix Craigslist. That kind of money can get some pretty top notch rides. I understand that some people have a lot more money than time or don't have the skills or inclination to build their own, but I can't imagine spending that kind of money on it. Then again, my money is pretty short. The lottery would probably change my view on these kinds of things. ;D

It was Hawk Motorsports in Oregon that bought out the smaller Formula Cross and Extreme. Aftershock Motorsports bought out Hawk after Hawk discontinued production. Hawk initially used the Drakart name, but later dropped that and just used Hawk as the brand name.
