  Here's my take. We have no idea if the guy is a known person to the dept or the officers. If he was, does he have a history of fighting?  No idea of weather he has done this kind of thing before, if he reported as armed. I guess what I'm saying is I don't think I have enough info to judge the actions of the officers as excesive,  correct, or otherwise

I agree other than it was pretty damn obvious , to me anyway, that he was either dead or out cold. But ,maybe you are right that the camera may not be showing enough or as it is.

Yeah, but if we shot a few more of them we would have lot less problems with the rest of them. After living with a crackhead down the street for 10 years, I would have no problem capping a few of them to save everybody a lot of trouble down the line.
