530 X-ring chains

So, I'm shopping for a new chain and it appears that the EK 530 ZZZ X-ring chains (11,000 tensile) are out of stock everywhere as in dis-continued?  It seems like EK is trying to substitute the 530 ZVX X-ring chain (10,560 tensile) in it's place. Is 440 pounds of tensile really going to make that big of a difference?  Good chains aren't cheap so I'd like to try and buy only ONE this year ;D .  Anybody got any input or suggestions on another chain before I pop for the ZVX?

ZZZ is disc as best I can tell too.  Bought the new "replacement" one off Ebay w/the colored side plates.  Like very much and didnt adjust this last trip to LS, and me and wife was trying to break shit last couple days.  I'm happy!!!

You know more than I now. Had no idea ZZZ was a goner.I'd think the ZVX is an equal to the old ZZZ though for all practical purposes. Maybe not tho.

Its got the new style Xrings. And a tad diff side plate design best I remember.  One place had it listed with more tensile strengh than the zzz.


DS bought all the old stock zzz he could find,  LMAO LMAO

yes i did once i learned they were being discontinued lol   but i think there are a few on ebay still

I can't find any on Ebay unless it's in bulk.  Anybody want to do a group buy?  None of us would ever have to buy chain again :)

I'm starting with the turbo for my winter project , hopefully, and i'll do rev next so at that point I will be chainless
