I've been watching vids of the big trucks in the Dakar rally. Cool shit for sure.

It would be fun to run Glamis once, just to say I had. Problem is I pre fer st a for the shorter drive.

Between G and StA ,to me anyway I think I actually prefer G dunes to StA. I'm not as impressed with how tall dune is which is what StA is all about. G has a lot more area and as such a lot more types of dunes. I really like cruising the mid size,more open dunes and big bowls that G offers a lot of. That said I do not wish to load up and travel to the dunes every morning from Yuma so as to have full hookups. The only option is dry camping at Gordons or wherever at G. I do not wish to dry camp sooooooo it's StA for me. We had a blast last trip to StA.

I'm loaded up for Glamis this next week....  Haven't decided 100% that I'll go, if I do I'll attempt to dry camp this time instead of staying in Yuma.  I too would rather go to St. A, looking forward to August 2025 for St. A.

Hope you have fun. It will be busy probably.Lots to look at and watch.  I was thinking of maybe going out mid January but it looks like IF I go out it will be maybe late Feb or so. Depends on how the 427 works out.

Hope Glamis a great time with no issues.  Bet its crazy busy on a holiday week. Were you able to get your injectors cleaned or did you have to replace them?

He does.

As this is the first year of speed , I know they have had some growing pains with blown motors and gear boxes and apperantly turbo exh flanges. They seem to be making them right though and still a top tier machine imo

What I like about those videos are the number of bandaid repairs which screams cash cow  :m some of the work is all bolt on parts ...on the sxs's. Shocking how many are either not prepared or uncapped of the repair work on the sxs's
