i have some questions i need answered.   first, why is it that we cant use the factory sprockets from the bike that our engines come from?  like 14 front and 45 rear for example.  the bike hauled ass with its 24" tall tire. so when people use the stock srpockets and small atv tires, then why is the gearing way to high, and end up needing a 60 tooth or so?  is it just because of the added weight of the buggy?

VDC4,
Pretty much that, and add the traction/drag factor of having 10 x the contact patch that the bike did..

Most bike trannies have a rather high first gear ratio therefore you need a lower sprocket ratio to get a heavier buggy rolling more easily.

Doug would be my first choice, but there are also some companies that make huge sprockets for stunt bike that fit the stock wheel.

I have 50, 60 and 72 tooth sprockets for sale. cost is $60 and that includes a custom bolt pattern of any type. here is a pic of the 60 and 72.

I also sell rotors and any type of hub work.

Hell I do any machine / FAB work really wether it be turning, milling, designing.

Let me know if I can help. i also have alot of parts on the shelf. The sprockets have been flying off the rack like crazy lately.

well I only have 4 of the 60 and 3 of the 72 left with that design... When I have another batch cut I may experiment with some other design. If you all have any suggestions I would love to hear them. Remember though, it needs to be economical for cutting.

I just had a batch of matching spade rotors with a wave O.D., They look pretty trick. I only have them availabe with the 930 pattern but I can drill in the type 2/4 pattern in rotation.

Ill try and get some pics up...
