Beaver State park in OK. Anyone gone there?

I heard about Beaver state park in Oklahoma. I read it is 1/3 the sand of LS. But has a small lake. Has anyone been there? What was your take on the park.

There's not much of anything worse than Syracuse IMO. Beaver is just small and has no dunes as such.Nice place otherwise.

It looked to me like it was more quad oriented. Camping spots are real limited from the information on the web site. The guy I sold my old rail to went there instead of LS. To each his own. I see no reason to drive farther for less play space and with time restriction. I think dune are open 730am to 11pm. Could be some beauty in the extra quiet though.

It'd be fine for a half day. Much cleaner and better sand than Syracuse.

it really is a shame cause syracuse could be so much more if! that's a big if on one hand but still COULD BE on the other. never even thought about beaver after what I have heard from a few that have been there.
