Little something I took on this weekend. 15 year old kid and his dad putting a buggy together. I have been donating time and parts to the project. kid is a hard worker and not scared to get dirty, just the way I like them.

hands on is some of the best experience out there. the book will only get you so far. its a shame that so many high schools have pulled the trade out of the learning program. Garden city has keep welding, woods , and agriculture class. we had a small gas engines class, but now its combined with the Ag class. kind of just a over view. of a engine. Ag is more into the farming side , as it should be living in the hart land. the saving grace around hear is the farm kids. most of them grow up at least doing general maintenance on farm equipment.

Yea I took every shop class they offered back then, loved em. My shop teacher helped me figure out what I wanted to do for a living.
The buggy is "Old School Cool" for sure. Lucky for the kid to have a dad and friend teaching him this, instead of on their phone.

I keep telling the kid. Do you know just how lucky you are to have a dad that helps you build this stuff. He just smiles and says YAAA. :m :m :m
