Like the first pic? I thought that was what you were talking about finding.

With a setup like that the sensor grounds out the light (to the block or manifold) to light it. So one wire from the light goes to the sensor. The other to 12 voltz.

Post by: fabr on July 13, 2010, 05:58:08 AM: "sending unit" is a poor name for a single lead "sender". It should be called a "grounding unit". A single lead only grounds. Multi lead "senders" pass 12V through to gauge OR to ground.
