Uh don't check on the carter specs.Check the specs on the subie engine. Match a walbro against those.I suspect the 255 would be fine tho.

HA HA HA..yokes on me. Was funny though. I was telling him to check the carter fuel pump against the stock one and see if they match cuz that is what he has. Maybe it cant handle the demand of EFI and thats why they keep locking up. Im sure the walpro would handle whatever he does cuz i have one force fedding a bottle fed honda makeing 860 WHP. It was just my .02 tho.

Bench - no - still need to dismount it, but, did run leads to it eliminating all relays, cpus, etc and same deal.

So Walpro it is.  Guess Summit will warranty the Carter, so I will have a 40 minute spare?

Just to offer an option. I have been runing a pump from Marren Fuel injection for 4 years with no problems. I believe DSRACE has the same pump in his new car. I think they are only $130 buck and support 450 hp.  :)

Thanks,

I exchanged with Summit - good policy.  We will see.  I also replaced entire fuel filter assy to flow more at a higher filter rate.  If it craps again, warranty be damned.  Time for something different.

Make shure your new filter is rated for fuel injection. Also just the smallest piece of trash in your pump and it can stop working.
