  • If it is worth doing!!!!!! Do it in the sand

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

Price of stuff is getting stupid.  Rails keep plummeting in value.  Heck, if this keeps up I might consider a new to me car.

Course I would then also consider a new to me woman, and likely house, aw hell, I think I will just stick with what I have......

You could not build that car for that.  Like Yami said price's are crazy low on these sand cars right now.  Money is tight.  The banks will not loan money on much of anything right now. I need to buy a new machine and a building to put all my machinery in right now.  Scared to go to the bank.  Don't know if they will even talk to me.  Bought my last three machines through the bank with no problems but that was before the big bubble broke.  Need to expand and hire help.  Crazy right now. Banks need to catch up with what's going on in the real world right now.

Banks have caught on - its called take the money, hold it under the guise of passing a stress test, then ask for more.  Have you not been paying attention?

REALLY nice car. Well worth the money asked. BUT,I do have a question in general about these ultralite cars. Does everyone really feel safe in them? I' admit I don't. Not trying to knock anyone's car and especially not the one posted but they/it just have the driver just too out in the open for my taste and driving stupid tendency.

Looks a lot like SSC.  Front susp has vertical linkpin spindles.

Many, many "sand" cars are built on a steel diet.  With the uninstalled turbo that little thing would make low to mid 200hp.

I understand but it doesn't answer the question. I don't feel safe, won't accept a ride in and wonder how safe others feel in an ultralight weight.

I get what your sayin, but more tubes doesn't always make it safer.  A few tubes in proper locations, correctly welded is far better than a bunch of steel with chicken shit for welds.  I like the higher mid rail in your car, close to my sholder felt more in the car.  But I honestly only feel safe if I'm driving.  I'm a bad passenger in anything.

I feel a lot safer in my JP vs my Sand Limo.  Alwasy worried about the Limo in a roll over and I know it would be just fine.  Safer feeling translates to faster. (For me) So, I am with mastr on this.

Lot's of sand car people out there do not push there car's like some of us do.  First time car buyers and sane people would be just fine in that car.  Given that they watch there p&Q's.  All you guys have forgot that we I say we all of us on this form are crazier then a will anyway we are just plum nuts the way we drive some time's and we need a good cage and the man upstairs watching.
