there was just a motor mount thread that talked about a removable mounting plate.  check posts for the last couple of days.  I want to say yoshi uses that type of set up.  Mocking up for engine mounts.... is the name of the thread.

what don't you like about the car you got? its probbaly worth more as is then tearing it apart, cant ya just swap motors, or are you looking to add reverse as well? BTW i really like the car you have myself... ;D

I have a removable subframe that holds the gear box, the motor is attached in the chassis with the mount plates.  I believe proto die has the full removable setup with a motor/gearbox cradle.....

You have a nice looking car there bird.  It's hard to believe you can't get enough out of it to justify starting new.  Do you think the R-1 motor is hurting your selling it?  I was looking at building with a R-1 but wondered if it would be worth it on resale to go busa?  Post up what your asking for it, I haven't seen any ads yet.

Ok guess I"ll admit if i had a Busa 1397 sitting in the corner I would have an itchy trigger finger to.
