one of my presents from my dad is a master lock brand 2000lb electric winch for my buggy. i like it.
30ft cable too

I have one on my trailer, been there for 4 years out in the weather ...still works as good as the day it was new...Cept the case is beat to hell, I think you'll find it very handy.
Did that one come with the trailer ball mount too?

yea, ball mount and manual crank handle. i was thinking of mounting in on the front of my buggy.

I think you might want one that's alittle more compact and lite weight, for on the buggy, I got some of those harbor freight ones awhile ago, The 1st cordless one burned up cuz it was on the same frequency as somebodies garage door opener...Kept trying to lift the trailer past t's max angle ::) even when I wasn't home...
I have the cable controlled  one on the front of my Crapsman tractor, Been there for a year with no problems... I'll see if I can get some pics

its not that heavy and its not very big.. and im not gonna tell them i dont want it.

23lbs... no different than having a cooler full of ice and some other shit up front. (which i have no room for)
