Hadn't thought of that and I think he was running in muddy conditions. Probably just as likely to jam it as sand. Hell ,even dusty conditions with any wet lube and the same could happen pretty easily I would think. I run my cable dry only. Silty ,muddy conditions might be a totally different animal tho and need to be lube packed or sealed?????............ Hell,I don't know!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Lance, idk if that mig gun linear would be big enough? .045 liner which I know could probably accommodate a lil bigger wire. I guess what im saying is will the .06 wire work ok in that size liner? I know the .045 means wire size and not actual diameter of the liner.

.062 is very available in the world.  I'd try locally or look for the fastest shipping.  I have a lacking of patience for shipping. :)

Well I just bought a mig gun liner. Its actually 5/64, liners od is the same as my old liner so allowing me to thread my old bolt ends right back on to it. The id is just a little bit larger than my old one. Hope that doesn't affect anything. I bought a new cable at tsc yesterday very close to the same size as my old cable and alot of strands.

Thanks everyone for helpful advice and yrs of experience!!

I have tried several configurations to pull the throttle all the way back off. Diffrent springs, winding, twisting, lubrication to the cable and petal with no avail. Seems to always stretch the new spring pretty quick not allowing complete release of the throttle. I even bought a heavy duty double spring and drilled a new hole in the throttle cable bracket. This prevents the heavy spring from hanging my throttle wide open on the choke. Need some advice because im sure some else has had this problem.

Thanks in advance dts!!

Just saying here but this looks like and extreme angle on the throttle cable.  Going to wear something out real quick.  Mite be tied to the spring problem maybe not.  check and see if the spring is not getting jammed up on the cable arm.

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

Good call! I seen that earlier today and bent it out a little. Its working great now! Doesn't even need the return spring. I have never really got to ride it like I wanted to until a little earlier. I cut some mean snuts in front of a local gas staion very hard on the tires.  The more I ride this thing the more im impressed!!
