Busa minne with one big ass tran's

Here are some photos of the first car to receive a prototype mini-diff.
Below are some photos of the Hayabusa/ mini-diff combination on a stand.
We hope this helps to visualize how this drive train works in a mini rail frame.

Just put in aj shifter and see what you get.  Or try Trans Works.

He's talking about the transworks reverse diff, it's on their home page.....I guess fastcorvairs didn't get the memo about that unit, lol...

I blew the unit up about 5 times, lasting anywhere from 5 min. to 7 hours.  Gene has blown it up every trip out, and in the year and a half he has been using it has been able to drive it (for a few hours at most) maybe 3 times, the rest of the time the unit was sent back and repaired, and it's currently been many months since the last failure and he has yet to receive the unit.  I have not talked to one person that has not had problems with the unit, and i've had a lot of people call me to talk about their bad experience who had the exact same problems and got the exact same reply I got when I called which was "that has never happened before, you are the first".  I was also treated horribly by the owner of that company, who would blame me for failures, only to get it back and admit it was put together wrong and/or had issues that were not my fault (improper heat treat, improper design, ring gear in backward, no crankcase breather, mount coupler machined out of center causing wobble, poor brake caliper mount design causing calipers to rock back and fourth over an inch when pressure was applied, etc.), but I never got an apology. I was basically told to mind my own business when I made suggestions to improve the unit, and it cost me over 6k outta my pocket as well as 2 sales, so I am not very happy with that company at all....

Both Gene and myself have long running project logs explaining the issues as well as posting pics of the failures at MB.net, it was an effin nightmare..

yerp, he's got less than 10 hours drive time on that rail in over a year and a half, all because of that unit...
