here is simple alignment procedures...

Montana here ya go, let me know what belt you bought, or what machine its for, and ill get you the eaxact specs for center to center distance, or at least see if its the same as you got jigged up...

The carlisle belt # is 138-5232U3.
I believe it was for a Yamaha V-max

Just curious why you didnt get a ski doo belt? did someone tell you yo buy that belt specifically?

I am using the info supplied by Standfast and that is the belt he used. I think it is because that is the longest belt available.
C2C is 14.3" right now.

seems a bit narrow, i think i am running 1.5" on the doo motor... Ill dbl check, that will change the alignment specs a tad...

1" 7/16 i am running i guess... so not to much difference, may have to adjust the alignment just a tad is all...

When you need more belts, Pm Livewire he will hook you up... Buy them In 3 packs... ;D I think if you follow them specs i posted, you will be damn close.... My driven floats on the shaft, so mine kinda self aligns essentially...

I used a .375 bar as described and I just had to move the secondary out about a 1/4".  Seems to me someone said that exact thing :-)

Even with it lined up per the specs it still seems wacky! I will get some shim stock for future adjusting and run it and see what happens.

best thing to do is get the belt on it... ;D It will be a whole new perspective then... ;D I dont mind helping at all, you need anything else feel free to ask, If i dont know it, I know someone who does... ;D
