Go to Outback Outfront now.  There Webb site has a real good wright up on how to rebuild 930 cv's.  Even got pictures.

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

Thank's!!!!!!! They have added the clocking since I last visited there site. And it is always good to keep everything left and right endside and outside.

??? where it attaches to the gun?  I have a separate grease gun with a needle on it and never had any trouble.  Has to be kept out of the cold though.

The dam needle pops out of the part that connects it to the gun. Post a pic of your set up. I have been buying mine at TSC. They work for a while. But I buy them in sets of 3 or 4.

Why would they blow out? There's no pressure.

the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

What are you using for grease? Asphalt? You keep the stuff in the freezer?  ;D ;D Just asking because I've used grease needles for years and never had one blow out.I have had them come out if I stuck it in someplace and got it in a bind and then got rough getting it unstuck.

No seriously,I'd like to know since I think you've had a good bit of experience using cv's.

If I remeber correctly it had to be th emoly specifically FOR cv use. other wise th eballs would skid rather than roll and wear flat spots...

Only busted one cv and that was from too much angle when we first bought the car. It had 3 x 6 rear trailers and they where almost at max angle at static height, didnt last long and we learnt our first lesson with teh use of cvs. reverted to 3x3 arms and moved the eng trans a little, never had one fail again.
