Title: disc breaks

I have been looking for rear disc breaks for my car and some say that one kit is for long spline application and one kit for short spline. So is the short for IRS type IE 930 or id the long spline? I know that one kit is for swing axle and one is for IRS but I do not know what I need. I have the IRS type.
