How old is it? The early ones had many problems. It has only been in like the last year that they have fixed the horrible bumpsteer issues that they had. Shocks that they come with are decent quality, but getting parts can be an issue. Shims are the same as Fox supposedly.

2007 suppose to have only 5 trips on it or rides. Original owner. 1 trip a year seems odd. What do you think it is worth if in near new condition or good condition?

isn't the echo tech a Chinese motor? or built in china anyways?  I say drive it and see if it's what you want or worth it to you to build up.

many folks love the X18.  Good little cars.  Get more info on it and post it up.  Can get you in touch with prior owners to discuss if you would like.

I agree. Is it the rack or just a rack adapter needed? Whatever ,should be a relatively fix.

I looked at some of them in the 2011 SSSS and was impressed by what all was in them.   I think after the first year or two someone here in the USA took them and started building them our to 4130 and really making them more reliable.

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

The rack that came with them was a POS. Moving the tie rod mounts out to where they need to be was difficult on them and did not turn out well. Easier/better to replace.
