starting new buggy
« on: February 03, 2010, 05:52:21 PM »
When you guys start a new buggy how do you start? Do you buy the power plant your going to use and then build the frame or do you build the frame then get the motor?

Doesn't matter really. You better make enough room for whatever you plan to use tho and if you're not positive of its' size you'd be wise to get the engine and lots of other stuff first IMO.
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."

I was thinking of the barracuda. Not shure how much room you would need as I never built one before.

That does bring up a good question. I plan to use a GSXR 1000. That should fit well if built to plans right? I'm stretching the cockpit area by 4 inches for leg room but planned on leaving engine area to spec.
If you remain calm while everything around you is complete chaos... then you probably haven't fully understood the situation!
