This is completely normal right?
« on: November 28, 2009, 05:01:02 AM »
I've been laying in bed wide awake since 3:30 thinking! I feel like a kid does with all the anticipation of the week before Christmas! I'm actually trying to figure out how to squeeze a day or two of overtime into all the other December stuff so I can raise some buggy funds. All of this and I haven't even started yet! A year of this and I'll be as crazy as Christian Bale and probably even look like he did in The Machinist!

Anyway, my bender arrives on the 1st. My notcher and die arrive on the 3rd. I have all of my tubing in the garage. I have about $100 in gift cards to buy all of my lumber to build a frame table. I should be ready to boost Doug's Christmas funds soon and order the lazer cut parts and A-arms in a week or two. So I suppose the progress is going pretty good since I got bit by the bug few weeks ago.

Much,much worse.
"There can be no divided allegiance here.  Any man who says he is an American,
but something else also, isn't an American at all.  We have room for but one
flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is
the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a
loyalty to the American people."
Theodore Roosevelt 1907

The best thing you can do is to try to get the wife or girlfriend (wife AND girlfriend??) infected too!

If not enough to join you at least enough to let you loose at it!
Your mission isn't to dive feet first into hell, but to make sure its crowded when you get there.

That would be nice, but my wife is a girly girl for the most part. As much as she enjoys camping she has no interest in offroading. We are planning on buying a 5th wheel next year though!  ;D

Have you given Santa your shopping list yet??  There is no cure only treatments, putting the pedal to the floor will make your lips touch your ears. ;D  Putt a little pink on it, then she may be interested.

Yes sir! Pretty sure Santa is at Sears as we speak! LOL
I think the videos she has seen has scared the shit out of her. She is a... ummm... cautious... driver. She may dig it eventually. Once she gets past the price tag anyway.
