Title: a few additions to the toyhauler
Post by: dsrace on April 20, 2014, 04:16:28 PM
I have two friends with ceiling fans in there fifth wheels and I really liked them because they move more air than a fan on the counter. I should say they move air over a larger area.  our toy hauler didn't come with a vent hood over the range since it has no oven but rather a microwave/convection over ( I don't like the convection oven it doesn't cook pizza as well) but they put a manual roof vent over it instead. so I decided we needed a power vent with power lid as well. so I pulled the inverter/breaker box out since there were two available 12 v slots left and routed all wired back to it. I bought everthing with wall switch's rather than remotes cause batt's go dead and remotes disappear!! lol

You won't regret that ceiling fan except for the beating they take going down the road.

I have thought about that after knowing the way it mounts. there is 1 nut that holds the whole fan on so easy enough to take off. so thanks for the info!!

if I could afford the one I really like which is the new front living room toyhauler forest river has out, I would just buy a toter home and stacker trailer and be done with it!!  rofl with a msrp of $109k for that one I know I could pick up a used toter and trailer for less!!   or a cabin and a flat bed lol

My 20 year old toter/48' trailer was a lot less than 109K for sure.
