Am I in the right place?

When i first started browsing this forum I thought all of your rides were too big and fast for me to join here. After reading a few posts about how cool you guys are compared to mbn i figured this is the right place for me. I am building a Shredder II from plans i purchased on the web. www.ubuilditplans.com
I have good fab skills and i am pretty picky (engineer) with tolerances. I picked up a Kohler 25HP V-twin for $300 last week for my motivation. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and my build. i will try to keep you updated.

I was actually wondering how they do the rear ends in those. I emailed the site twice but got no response.

Personnaly I think with a little savy and care you can make a shredder that would kick most chinese carts tails.

Welcome Chevy.  It looks like you have a good start, and plenty of help.  I love the way those V-twins run, smooth and torquey.  Can't wait to see you progress, keep us posted.

Thanks for the warm welcomes and tips on pics. I'll keep future ones a little smaller. I am new to this art, but the shredder design seems very solid to me. Not sure what the exact name for the type of rear end is, I would just call it two independent swing arms. There is a jack shaft forward of the motor with sprockets on either side going back to drive the rear wheels. I'll post pics of it when i build that part. I wanted to use an ATV engine and tranny so i could get reverse, but i couldn't pass up the deal on the v-twin. I'll start a build thread soon.

Sorry, I have been too lazy and busy to update my threads on more than one site. I had forgotten that i started this thread until a few weeks ago when i searched for it. The build is done and the kids and I have been riding the hell out of it. My oldest rolled it over a few weeks ago, but he wasn't hurt because he was wearing the 5-point and helmet. My current project is to upgrade the single disc with mechanical caliper to a hydraulic caliper and then upgrade the front hubs to add brakes. Anyway, her e are some recent pics.
