In 2006, I purchased a partially built, street legal, mid-travel Manx buggy.
Over the next couple of years, I finished the wiring & suspension, upgraded the engine to a 2.5 STI Subie (which I built myself), and installed a 091/Weddle transmission.
Had many great times with friends and family over the years!
2 weeks ago the Manx was burned to a total loss in a California Wildfire. I'm currently searching online for COMPS SALES (of street legal, mid-travel, Subie, Manx buggies) for the insurance "negotiation process.
Once insurance is settled, I'm looking forward to shopping and/or building my next Manx!

Welcome to the site, but sorry to hear about the loss of your toy. Sounds like it was a fun ride with the subi in there.

Don't mind yummi the tater head member here. For some reason he's just obsessed with them lately. 5: :m :m Anyway,,,,,,no bs1 he is the man to ask for help navigating the insurance thingy. It's sort of his life. Seriously,he can help answer any questions you may have on that if you need any help that is. BTW , WELCOME to the site!!!
