That was the guy who had the 100.00 conversion - I was going to get a pair for the street ride, need work to pick up before we get back to non essential speeding.

He has a good rep on GD.  Don't think he would go as far as he has with em if they were crap.   He can likely get you hooked up for off road as well.    Goes by the name WheelieBar on GD.

I have 3 of the checker lights on my Dodge "Mexico truck" they are great...haven't had the 'good' ones so can't compare. I'm impressed with the RIGID Industries LEDs...they are the cats ass! I have the 6" on my Tecate, from the top of comp at buttercup I can light up the bottom! Great output and reasonable for the price comparison...Yoshi you have some, don't you? I'm trying to get a small dealership going with Taylor, the owner.

Fabr, I bought 2 of the CSK's about 2 months back and there some of the best quality I have seen, they were about 100 bucks each, even if they were 200 they would still be the best for the money....very nice units.

The Trail-Techs I run the full output is about 10 seconds. Usable light in about 3 seconds. The major downfall of HIDs IMO and one thing I hate about them. (there has to be quicker ones out there...) Cant beat the intensity with anything else though!

That's good to hear. The HID's I had for exterior lighting on the trailer took about 60 seconds to come to full brightness.

I just picked up 2 of the 4 inch lights and they seem like they will be up to the task.

The 7's looked a little big for putting next to the mirrors.

In 30 seconds they were as bright as ever, but they were also around 60 degrees. They took right off, and in 5 seconds were already really bright, but kept getting brighter till around 20-30 seconds. I'll mount them on the buggy and get picks this weekend.

I have a new video cam so I will take some video of them warming up too, so it should help you see how they perform.

The pattern was really wide. I had them inside my car while testing and I shined it on another car 3 spaces away and it lit up a 5-6 ft wide patch really well, then a couple feet on either side was lit up pretty well. the patch was about 3 feet tall at that distance.

GAG.LOL!!! Those belong on a combine. ;D ;D  I don't see any poly lens covers.Glass doesn't like sand or flying rocks too well. Also I've never had much luck with that type of mount staying adjusted.Just my .02..

Who says he's going to stay true to his lifetime warranty? What happens if he dies? Warranty void?
