its the new suspension seats fault :m
how do you like the new exh and turbo set up?
what gear were you duning in when that happened?
;D ;D
-
You are right. I couldn't feel the abuse the car was taking! We were duning fairly hard in the bowls and "big hills". Luckily it let loose just cruising up a slope. It tore part of a tube out, causing it to bind up the heims end, and breaking the radius rod. The rod wedged into something, or else it would have folded up into the shock and also cut my new paddle tire in two. I am also lucky it didn't break in a hard turn, because I am sure I would have been upside down. Not cool with a young lady in the passenger seat. Although, we had already had the "safety talk" about seat belts and how to react in a crash shortly before. There was about 3 threads left in the broken radius rod, so we managed to get it back to camp. Turbo setup is good, I think. 3rd gear is even more usable.

you are running a 5 link. my last couple were 6 links for that very reason. i could loose one and still have 3 inboards. now i did so because i had hit a few trees in the trails and a few other objects ;D maybe :m

Sorry I couldn't make it down. Looks like you had a good time. Maybe TOO good? :nw You can fix it in plenty of time for our Oct get together.

nice job. sounds like it will be pretty easy to fix.
