Never said it was. But I have drove a 1969 Stingray Corvette with a 350 horse 350 and a four speed from the factory. It would whip donuts just as good.

Not as fast due to no rear steering on the Vette and longer wheelbase. But it would do it with similar ease.

Also not sure how you know its a small block. I have seen some who claim to know they guy its a big block. Either way I don't care.

Unless they got DYNO sheets from three different Dynos with NO claim to the building of the engine the HP claim on a aftermarket built engine is bogus.

The reason I said a waste of HP was you could cut them donuts w/250 hp.  Show me something where he is using that hp.  Don't get me wrong its cool as hell, I had a little smile as I watch the video.
You can keep your CHANGE, I'd like to keep my DOLLAR.

I look at it this way-the difference in a 12 second quarter mile and a 7 second quarter mile is only 500HP if done right. 600 ponies are pretty damn easy to get if you can tune the parts right. MANY cannot tho.

I know and agree with yah. It obvious the truck was built as an example of overkill.

I think that in such a small creation its easy to make a lil power look like a lot.

Your mission isn't to dive feet first into hell, but to make sure its crowded when you get there.

Where would we be without overkill??  At some point, a car was overkill, a horse would do just fine thank you very much!

I used to run them in my play in the mud days...There isn't a small block out there that can even handle 2

PREDATORS ...
iF MY MEMORY SERVES kick
they will flow in the 1000 cfm range and dump enough fuel for that each one ;D
that equates to about 150 gallons of fuel per hour... or more
My 502 would burn between 2 to 3 gallons on a hard mud run...
and that was with 2 of them...My small block with 1 did much better
