Legend stuff, bunch of poms and a Nevada plain... what can they cook up?

Love the pick of the sound barrier breaking and sending a shockwave away from the car (4.25)..... Cars have been designed to be faster than this but the average speed (each way) is amazing....

This was 133 MPH FATSER than any previous attempt... didnt break the record they SHATTERED it. It is also (obviously) the first car to break the sound barrier. Ive read their book, absolutley amazingly LO-TECH....

They fitted strain blocks to thesuspension mounts to determine wheel loadings and found the front had about 5 kg of weight on it at speed...about to lift off....
