The Best Honda Odyssey Was A '70s Off Road Go-Kart

Many years before Honda built their now legendary Accord-based four-slamming-door high-roof miniature van, the Odyssey name was used by Honda’s Powersports division for a minimalist single-seat off-road go-kart. Boy,does this bring back memories. My first off road anything was a brand new first year Odyssey. Several of us bought one.I guess I've never gotten over the fun that thing was-AFTER a few mods that is. They did not have anything but the rear hoop and rear down tubes for a "cage" the first years. Things handled like shit, would roll over all the time due to the glorified inner tubes that Honda called tires.  :m Those were some fun times though. After clutch mods and adding reeds to the intake ,a larger carb they actually pretty well hauled ass. Add some real tires, widen the track with spacers and they handled damn well also.  A buddy and I added a real cage to ours.
