Happy Tday to all. I should have gone to LS as well since a fire at a chemical plant in a town north of us has contaminated the river and towns over 100 river miles away. We are under a do not use water order. No telling when we will have safe water again.

This crap sux.



This thing has shut all water filtration from Neodesha,Kansas to Nowata ,Oklahoma. 60 miles by road and I'd bet well over 200 miles of river-the only water source for all towns between. No word on how long the chemicals will take to disperse yet. State of emergency has been declared by Kansas Governor.Might be quite some time.

Pesticides,solvents,ethylene glycol,anything you can think of basically.Nearly all the things you find at a parts store that is in an aerosol can such as carb /brake cleaner,antifreeze,spray lubes etc,etc...

Well,the river tested good but now we are still under a boil order since our water pressure/volume dipped down to basically zero. Oh well,a couple more days and we should be back to normal. At least we are taking in water to be treated now and it's flowing.
