Doc's first flight in 60 years 16 years of restoration

Pulled from a bombing field from being used for a target.  Thousands of volunteers put him back together.There time, there money.  It was serial watching him lift off this morning.

Glad you saw it.  We now have two airworthy B29's in the country.

i bet that was amazing to see!

It was.  He was about thirty minutes late taking off because of a cranky bomb bay door that wouldn't close.    Then they cut the flight shout because a check engine light came on.  All and All Every one was happy with the way the plane performed.
