I would think the other crap in batteries would keep water from freezing.  But??

Battery in my rail, 1yr old Braile, split the plastic case.  But least crap didnt go everywhere.  Thinking internal short, or the exposed wiring I found.

Those time laps are cool.  It looks like the snow finally melted up there.  And you guys do work fast, did you find the gremlin?  And like fabr said, a dead battery turns to water.  Now get get that buggy painted, time is ticking by, 6 weeks!!

I got a few days work and I'll be ready.  Got one of the side panels fitted back on.  That was a total pain.

Camper battery replaced, I do think it discharged and froze up. It did have some corrosion around the posts just on that battery in the array, soooooo..  ?

On an even happier note, the gremlin has been terminated! All from a bad switch. Got lots of other items cleaned up in the harness while I was tracking it down, so all for the better 
Cage is rebuilt and painted up! Many thanks to DS for knocking it out as fast as he did, saved me lots of time to concentrate on many other items that needed checked on from the wreck. Tabed in a light bar on the roof, found thee guys a while back and has worked out very well. Bang for the buck, you can't go wrong.. http://extremeledlightbars.com/
