UPDATE!!!!! The Waynoka wood guy
« on: May 12, 2013, 08:47:49 AM »
Some of you know our and your good friend at Waynoka Clark Bliss the wood guy needs your prayers right now as well as his wife Karen.  Clark was on his new roof yesterday inspecting it when he fell off.  He is in and OK city hospital right know with two broken hips, broken leg and ankle.  He could use a little prayer right now.  I will keep you posted as to his long and hard recovery.

That's a thought but none of us are close by. He has rentalunits there also. He told me his wood business is done ,pretty much, for the season. Maybe we can come up with  something before the fall season though.

Clark is out of surgery yesterday evening.  We have not herd how he is doing.  I am sure that his road to recovery will be long and painfull.  I am betting it well be in a care home in Alva for a time.  With the extent of the damage that was done he will most likely be confined to a wheel chair for a time.  I have been in Clark and Karen's house and it is not wheel chair friendly.

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

Most likely the case. Hopefully ,he'll be able to travel to Yuma this winter to bask in the sun. Best wishes,Clark.

I called Karen this morning after the text. They were in to get him for physical therapy already.
I asked here to let me know how that goes.
