I'll hook up to it tomorrow and check it out just to be cetain. I gotta get a box coming tomorrow one way or the other before it's too late to have a chance to tho. I can't really wait till I diagnose it and then get one coming. FWIW,I don't think it can be the maps since the 4 injectors fire as pairs. The SS box runs 4 injectors but with 2 circuits-A and B maps. That being so I should have 2 injectors running wide open. I don't.

Only other possibility for the injector to be energized wide open would be a primary wiring short in the harness feeding 12V directly to the injector as soon as key is on. I think that's the only possibilities there are. I'll also check out every inch of the harness to it tomorrow. Never hurts to have a spare box( and injectors )even if I find it not at fault..

I know what you mean about the rats nest!LOL!!!! I'm just going to cut the leads near the box and splice in a weatherpack connector instead of digging it out of the main harness if the harness checks out OK..

I've been thru some simialar crap, everythings fine, go to bed and tomm morn Santa's eves have screwed with everything and nothing works.  If theres a way to look at those two maps ?? to make sure you've not corupted some how?

Ok,got in touch with Split-Second. They were OPEN and had it IN STOCK!!Got it set up to ship UPS next day to Yuma to LS firewood guy. Thanks to Yummi,Fast,Enemy,Clark and anyone I might have forgot. It's great to have friends that are willing to do what it takes to git 'er done!

Got the weatherpack connectors on the harness.11 wires . All I gotta do now is attach the other end of the WP's to the SS box harness when I get to Yuma and load the maps. Crap,I hate last minute thrashes.
