Hell I live north of and now work in Muskegon, Michigan.
it is bad around here for sure. I was packing to go to Wichita, Kansas and if no luck there headed to Salt Lake city, Utah for work when they called me for this job.

Been out of real work for a long frigging time. Around here thats nornmal.

Syrahole was on that list when I was going to build a resort there...But when they found out I needed to make a livng off my investment...then they changed their minds...and the land still sits empty TODAY..almost as empty as their "SAND DUNES" rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl rofl
I think most of it is a scam...townships looking to increase property tax revenues where the people that pay these taxes work in the closer cities or towns...and these Free land towns are looking to suck up some of that tax...It costs them nothing...to give you the land...and collect the taxes and the water/utility bills off the home owner/business that moves onto it...
IT'S REALLY A JOKE WHEN YOU STOP AND THINK ABOUT IT.....
BUT THEN AGAIN...SO IS SYRAHOLE thumb down

whats your profession, nutz?

Exactly. I worked as a supervisor in the automotive world for Daimler Chrysler for nearly ten years. So yah I was nutz there too.

Afore that I was a maintenance person at Quaker Oats Gatorade plant in Indianapolis.

I am now working for Port City Group as a a floor supervisor in an aluminum injection molding plant. I cover the machine floor part of it. Its a job....

When They called me I was packing to head to Wichita, Kansas and if that did not work out for me I was then headed to Salt Lake City, Utah.

Still might as I am still seeking better work. This place is starting to grow on me but its flaws do not make it a great place to plan a future I do not beleive.

But its a paycheck for now. And that does not hurt.
